Help for Candidates
MaritimeEmployment.com makes finding a job in the maritime industry easier than ever.
Our site is rather simple and was designed to attract a large number of new job openings every week.
Here is a step-by-step on appyling for jobs on MaritimeEmployment.com
- First you need to post your resume. You can easily copy and paste your resume into our online form. Also, the online form has an option for those that would like to keep their identity confidential.
- Next you will need to wait until a MaritimeEmployment.com representative approves your resume for inclusion on the site. This can take up to 24 hours. In order to insure your resume gets approved, do not put your contact information in the body of resume. Obviously, any obscenities will also get your resume disapproved as well. And remember, recruiters are attracted to complete and well presented resumes.
- Now you are ready to apply for jobs posted on the site. Simply go to Search Jobs, find jobs of interest and click the "Apply to Job" link at the bottom of the job posting. Your resume will then be sent to the employer or recruiter that posted the job.
That's it. Any interested employer will then contact you directly concerning their available job openings. By posting your resume, employers that choose to search our resume database and not post job openings will also be able to find your resume.
If you would like to update your resume, simply click the Update Resume link in the side navigation. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to. Once you click the "Update" button at the bottom of the resume form, your resume
will be placed offline until a representative approves your changes.
We want to thank you for using MaritimeEmployment.com and look forward to helping you find your next position!
